Healthy diet

No food can bring alone all the nutrients the body needs, only a varied, moderate and balanced diet can. A healthy diet means eating different foods belonging to basic food groups: proteins such as meat, eggs and vegetables; dairy products; fruits and vegetables; cereals such as bread and pasta; fats and sweets.

A healthy diet can reduce the risk of disease. American nutritionists recommend eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, cereals and low-fat dairy products.

Adopting a healthy diet does not mean dieting; is a way to improve health.
